A Beginner's Guide to Close-up Photography

To coincide with National Insect Week and the announcement that our annual Photography competition is to “Focus on Insects”; we have decided that this year, we will run a workshop that will concentrate on a beginners guide to Close-Up Photography.

Minimum requirements are: SLR camera, a lens with a macro facility, a cable release and a sturdy tri-pod. Although a flashgun and extension tubes are very useful, they are not essential.

Our target groups: moths, dragonflies and pond-life. If weather conditions are favorable: bees and wasps.

This event is £60 per person and groups are restricted to six participants.
